At Center City Chabad we realize that when it comes to spirituality it is NOT "one size fits all." We have therefore created a multifaceted program with various sub organizational departments to cater to the different needs of the many parts which comprise a community.
Each department is managed by an individual of our staff which is fully dedicated to the development and expansion of that division to ensure maximum efficiency and quality of its programming so that everyone's needs can be catered to with the appropriate attention.

Center City Jewish Preschool
At Center City Jewish preschool, each child is a seed that we nurture with the utmost care; the seed’s every experience will shape and color the quality of its matured self.
The Center City Jewish Preschool is a small, intimate Jewish preschool in Center City whose mission is to provide a warm and nurturing environment where children can grow and develop emotionally, cognitively and physically. Based on the knowledge that the formative years of early childhood are vitally important, each child is viewed as a seed that we nurture with the utmost care; the seed’s every experience will shape and color the quality of its matured self. Our carefully crafted program is designed to provide children with the early foundation and framework necessary for the transition to elementary school and beyond. Children learn to develop the literacy, numeracy, reasoning, and decision making skills that form a foundation for school readiness. In addition, children learn socialization skills, build self- confidence and develop the preliminary skills to explore and experience their world independently from their parents.
Jewish values and traditions drive the school curriculum, environment, and culture. Basic precepts such as respect for others, kindness, being a constructive member of a community, tzedakah, and practicing mitzvot are integrated into daily routines and interactive play. By doing so, we seek to create a stimulating and enriching educational environment that will ignite a spark in each child to lay claim to his or her Jewish heritage and commit him or her to a lifetime passion for learning. The Center City Jewish Preschool is dedicated to educating children from a broad range of Jewish backgrounds and observances. Our educational approach is guided by our recognition and respect for the unique qualities of each child. We recognize that each child has his or her unique needs, interests and passions. Our children are viewed as collaborators: they are competent, curious, inquisitive, unique, and creative. Each child who enters the school becomes a treasured member of our preschool family.
