Shabbat Morning, 9:30am preceded by Torah Study at 9:00am
Shabbat Luncheon following
Shabbat Services are held at Historic Congregation B'nai Abraham. Our Shabbat services are traditional. They are led by Rabbi Yochonon Goldman and chanted by the Rabbi and members of the congregation. Services are conducted primarily in Hebrew, but our prayer books all have both Hebrew and English prayers, and the page numbers are announced continuously. Following Shabbat Services, there is a beautiful sit-down kiddush luncheon. This is the social highlight of the week, where you will meet the friendly members of our community. The kiddush is usually sponsored by people who are celebrating a joyous occasion, such as a birthday, anniversary, graduation or commemorating the Yahrtzeit of a loved one. This is an opportunity to toast them a L'chaim, as well as to hear a short insight from the rabbi on the relevance of the weekly Torah portion. Please join us this Saturday from 9:30am-12:30pm - we look forward to welcoming you!
